The Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG) MDCG is an expert committee with an advisory and coordinating function required by the MDR and IVDR. Among other things, the MDCG deals with important topics such as the supervision of notified bodies, standardization, market surveillance, new technologies and clinical trials.

The Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG) Koordinierungsgruppe Medizinprodukte (MDCG) ist ein von MDR und IVDR gefordertes Expertengremium mit beratender und koordinierender Funktion. U. A. befasst sich die MDCG mit wichtigen Themen wie der Aufsicht über die benannten Stellen, der Normung Marktüberwachung, neuer Technologien bis hin zu klinischen Prüfungen.
